Just a little note to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for this book. I had lost my way a bit and for some of the very same reasons that you lost your way, so it was so very helpful to me to read your book. Also a little note to let people know that although you talk about your Christianity in the book, it certainly isn't limited to people who only practice Christianity. I am someone who is a Jew-Bu (Judaism and Buddhism) and I loved the book so it's really a book that could be read by women or men in any religion. I certainly hope someone wouldn't decide not to read the book because they were worried about the Christianity if they practice a different religion so I wanted to put that in here. Thanks again for a wonderful book and for helping me find my confidence again. My hubby thanks you too...wink wink.  Peace

I just wanted to say thank you for writing this book. I can't even verbalize how much this has helped my relationship with my husband of 5+ years, and not just physically. We both have sexual abuse in our past, and we never before realized what an impact that has had within our marriage. It has been so freeing to be able to experience sex & marriage in the way God had always intended. Because of the way our communication has been challenged to discuss very vulnerable issues such as our abuse, issues with sex, etc, it has opened so many doors for us in all areas of our marriage. I can't say enough about this book and how grateful I am to you for allowing God to speak through you & cut directly into my deepest problems. I bought this book to learn what was wrong with our sex life, but the information has allowed me to become not only a sexually confident wife, but a woman in a healthy, Christian marriage. Thank you so much.

I LOVED this book- I read it in one evening, I read a lot and have never done that before! It was so good!
It made me feel I was not alone in my feelings, gave me advice on how to be more confident, and I know this will help get my hubby interested in sex again.
This is a very tasteful book, not too religious, not too dirty, its just right!

In just reading the first couple sections of the book, I felt so empowered in my new marriage. I'm so glad that this was written. It's awesome that after every chapter, I can put to action things right away. Multiple times I found out my husband reading it (particularly chapter 10), so now we have some . . . things to experiment with. It's cool though because I'm game more now than ever. Well, I haven't read the whole book yet, but I just read an excerpt and I think that sealed it for me, I have to go buy it! I love that you join both sex and spirituality, and I agree with you completely. I believe that while God frowns upon sex before marriage, sex during marriage is absolutely expected and encouraged to keep that intimacy between a husband and a wife! Sex is not just for creating offspring, or why else would we be made to experience the pleasure that it creates? I just want to say thank you for putting this in perspective for so many women, including myself!

I had the pleasure of meeting you this past spring at a "Completely His" weekend retreat (I'm the one who managed to blow out my candle  ) I purchased The Sexually Confident Wife to keep me company last weekend when I was away from my hubby and kids. I finished it by Sunday morning. WOW what an eye opener. I feel so much closer to my husband and have a new appreciation for my own sexuality. The difference is significant enough that my hubby is reading the book now! Your sushi analogy regarding accepting this wonderful gift of sexuality from God really hit home with me. I've never concidered that I need to accept this gift as graciously and happily as I accept any other heavenly gift. I could never thank you enough for writing this book, but THANKYOU God bless you .

In a word: WOW. This is probably the best book on married sex I have ever read. I am a new mom with a three-month old daughter. While I expected our sex life to decrease somewhat in my post-partum state, I didn't realize how hard it would be on me emotionally and spiritually. I started feeling SO far apart from my husband because our sex life changed so dramatically! My body and hormones had changed and, for the first time, I experienced true sexual frustration in the bedroom. This book was an inspiration! It inspired me to talk to my husband honestly about my struggles and how he could help. With his love and support, I once again feel like a sexually confident woman and can't wait to reignite the passion in our marriage!!!
